新托福口語考試備考和模版之綜合口語第四題,這部分的考試是基於閱讀和聽力的基礎,具體介紹如下:
形式:閱讀+聽力+應答
閱讀:
時間: (沒有寫,但是估計也是40到45s)
內容:學術類短文(75到100words)--資料相對籠統抽象(生命科學、社會科學、自然科學和人文科學)
聽力:
時間:沒有寫
內容:與閱讀相關聯, (擴展事例,舉反例或運用閱讀概念)
作答:
根據短文和講座中的資訊並且對其中的關鍵資訊進行整合及加工。就是說:閱讀可能給一些很深奧的名詞或者概念,然後聽力講座時會針對這些概念做出解釋,模擬的就是課堂的真實情況,閱讀好比教材,講座好比上課。所以要注意聽出來二者之間的關係,然後作答

備考TIPS:
1、閱讀一篇短文。用文中的主要觀點勾勒出文章的梗概,使用梗概對短文。
2、閱讀文章時主要要記錄題目,因為題目一般就是主要內容的概括,然後閱讀並記錄重點。
3、聽力中要注意教授是怎麼解釋學術概念的,注意例證。Lecture題型其實只要求在閱讀預見內容的前提下復述講話框架。
4、進行口頭總結。然後在梗概中加入細節,並再次總結。口語體現的閱讀和聽力的主要重點,不要太關注細節。
5、用計時軟體進行訓練,因為當閱讀和聽力都聽懂的情況下,同學們很有可能什麼都想說最後導致什麼都沒說清楚也沒說完,那麼利用計時軟體訓練,就會避免這種現象。
6、合理分配時間,仔細審題,參考筆記,考慮如何表達
7、筆記記錄內容取捨很有彈性,下面兩者取其一:
(1)對數位敏感的記錄數位及準確的相關含義,用以佔據篇幅,避免連貫性動作描述。
(2)記錄連貫性動作描述,避免具體數字及準確的相關含義的表述。
reading passage:主要記下抽象的詞,和具體的定義;原理,和具體原理的內容等。帶著一個“概念是什麼,現象是什麼”的問題用 3 5秒看完短文,然後用 10 秒的時間,用 2 句話總結出短文所介紹的概念或現象(儘量用短文中的字彙)
listening passage:聽段子的時候,帶著“老師用什麼例子來進行說明”這個問題去聽。要聽結構(1+2),還要聽例子中涉及到的3個基本要素(實驗物件,實驗過程,實驗結果)。其中,實驗過程要詳細。注意這些和抽象的定義和原理的掛鉤。聽力材料的前兩句話,老師會給出所聽內容的概括性介紹。再結合閱讀給出的概念。再聽舉例說明。其方法通常是舉出擴展事例,舉反例或是短文中概念的實際應用。
8、本題題型細分為兩種題型:
A、二元正負類:閱讀材料中的關鍵句之一有兩個對稱並列的概念性詞語(切記:通常是動詞!)
(1)在閱讀材料中找到兩個關鍵字,聽力材料必然圍繞這兩個關鍵字展開。
(2)在聽力中迅速判斷兩大關鍵字的正負性質。
(3)根據兩大關鍵字的正負性展開相關內容。
B、描述舉例類:閱讀材料中的關鍵句之一對文章題目進行描述,如果不是定義句,此關鍵句經常在定義句附近。
(1)閱讀時記下描述性的關鍵句,如果臨近定義句,同時記下定義句。
(2)聽到並記下舉例內容,特別是與關鍵句匹配的資訊。
(3)根據具體例子反推驗證關鍵句,如閱讀時未確定,則在聽力中迅速判斷,從兩句中選中一句。

In this set of materials, the reading part describes the a body of water, and listening part provides
additional information about the body of water.
The reading part describes the body of water named the Dead Sea. This body of water is said to be
“dead” because its high salt level prevents life in it. It‘s so salty for the reason that it’s landlocked with
no outlet, and it‘s in an area with a high temperaturem this causes rapid evaporation.
The listening part makes an additional point about the Dead Sea. The new point says that the Dead
Sea isn’t actually a sea. A sea is a body of water that‘s part of the ocean or opens into the ocean,
while a lake is a body that; s entirely enclosed. The Dead Sea has no outlet and is therefore a lake.
